How links work

Code Audit Lab earns commissions through affiliate links. Here is the unredacted version.

Most outbound product links on Code Audit Lab are affiliate links. When you click one and buy, the vendor pays us a commission. Your price stays the same.

We use the ClickBank affiliate network. Every product link routes through ClickBank's hop.clickbank.net redirect, where our affiliate nickname is attached. The nickname is loaded from a private environment variable and is never inlined into the page source.

Affiliate revenue does not change our verdicts. We publish negative reviews of products we've signed up to as affiliates, and we link to products we'd never personally buy so readers can compare them against the ones we recommend.
